Undercurrent Festival 2014

Rings, Loops and Double Backs (Ramble 2)

Fri 11 - Sun 13 April, 10am - 4pm

Sat 12 & Sun 13 April, 12pm: performance with St Mary de Haura Handbell Ringers
The Old School House, Ham Road, Shoreham by Sea

World Premiere

The latest in Sheila's Rambles with Nature series, Rings Loops and Double Backs is a sound installation set amongst the leaves of a living tree and was created in collaboration with sound designer Scott Smith and musicians / widlife experts met in Shoreham during one of Undercurrent's Slow Boat Residencies last Autumn. Ramble 2 was also supported by a Blast Theory studio residency and through a work in progress presentation at Blast Theory Studios in December last year.

As well as the drop-in installation, there’s a chance to hear a performance by the St Mary de Haura Handbell Ringers at midday on Saturday and Sunday.

Undercurrent Festival is three days of playful performances, installations and games. From the station to the sea, Undercurrent will create a trail of imaginative events across Shoreham town centre for inquisitive adults and mischievous children. Free for all ages.

Supported by Arts Council England through the National Lottery
