Since the beginning of the year Sheila has been working at Historic Royal Palaces’ Tower of London as Community Installation Artist for Imagining Animals - under the guidance of Artistic Directors Suzy Willson & Mervyn Millar.
Sheila has given numerous workshops and been part of lots of consultations and conversations with residents in and around the Tower about what best to make in response to the theme…
As a result Sheila designed a unique participatory workshop for up to x16 people at a time - which then took place x10 times in June/July - the results of which (127 tiny cast wrens) will soon be on display alongside puppets, dancers & musicians at the Tower - August 19th-31st August.
