From Me to you with Love took place in Spring 2013 and was a 10 week arts project devised and led by Sheila Ghelani for Clod Ensemble's Extravagant Acts for Mature People project. Sheila worked with members of Millman Street Resource Centre in Camden and Riverside Centre in Tower Hamlets, two day centres providing services and care for older people.

As the name of the project suggests, participants explored ideas of exchange, gifts and giving - literally ‘exchanging something’ between centres each week, with Sheila acting as a kind of ‘postmistress’.

Exchanges included audio fragments of advice, knowledge and song, letters, cards, photographs, postcards, hand-fashioned gifts, wrapping paper...and more!

Sheila produced two artistic responses to the series of sessions -  a box of 10 greeting cards featuring text / phrases written by the centre members and a pair of performative photographs. The cards are available to buy in Sheila's shop.
